Precautions when installing the timing belt

The following points should be paid attention to when installing the synchronous belt:
1. When installing the synchronous belt, if the center distance of the two pulleys can be moved, the center distance of the pulleys must be shortened first, and then reset the center distance after the synchronous belt is installed. If there is a tension pulley, loosen the tension pulley first, then install the timing belt, and then install the tension pulley.
2. When installing the synchronous belt on the pulley, remember not to use too much force, or use a screwdriver to pry the synchronous belt hard, so as to prevent the tensile layer in the synchronous belt from being broken. When designing the pulley, it is best to choose a structure in which the two shafts can move closer to each other. If the structure does not allow it, it is best to install the belt and the pulley on the corresponding shaft together.
3. Control the proper initial tension.
4. In synchronous belt transmission, the parallelism of the axis of the two pulleys is relatively high, otherwise the synchronous belt will deviate during operation and even jump out of the pulley. Non-parallel axes will also cause uneven pressure and premature wear of the teeth.
5. The frame supporting the pulley must have sufficient rigidity, otherwise the pulley will cause the two axes to be non-parallel when the combination lock is running
6. When the timing belt is running, it is strictly forbidden for solid matter to roll into the tooth groove, because the tensile layer of the timing belt is allowed to elongate very little, and when foreign matter rolls in, the timing belt will be cut off if it cannot be stretched.
7. When starting, the center distance changes, the belt is loose, and the phenomenon of tooth jumping will occur. It should be checked whether the frame of the pulley is loose and whether the positioning of the shaft is inaccurate. Adjust and strengthen.
8. The tensioner must be installed on the back side of the belt.
9. The most important point is that the installation should ensure that the machine is powered off and safety comes first.
